Meet our Founder, Samir Shah
(everyone calls him Sam)
Samir has always described himself as a "lipstick junkie" and never imagined that he would start a brand where he started his career in designing some 20 years ago. He worked for several years as Production manager after which he served as Publisher, Sr. Graphic Designer and team lead.
As he worked his way up the ladder and achieved a considerable amount of success, he was diagnosed with severe hypertension and felt completely burned out. This was a wake-up call for Sam and it made him look critically at how he defined success and whether his life goals needed to be redesigned. He moved to Mira Road from Borivali, took a Six-months sabbatical, and came across a singular insight that legacy companies were product-driven only and they only cared about their product and business. Sam dreamed of creating a beloved brand that cared not only of the business, but also about how customer felt starting from the inside and then moving outward.
Samir often says that “Search for better ways to do things and you will find SUCCESS”.
